Professional Therapy Services/Fees

Online Counseling

Counseling via video chat (with audio). Professional therapy services are provided using smart phone or computer. Therapist wears headphones for client confidentiality. Service planning, documentation and treatment summaries available when requested. Counseling is provided using the secure American Well (AmWell) platform; a free AmWell account is necessary.

Telephone Sessions

Telephone (audio only) sessions are with your assigned therapist. These are not traditional sessions because nonverbal communication does not occur. These are best used when an internet connection fails or in between sessions. Some clients prefer telephone sessions prior to starting video sessions, for comfort, and others want phone sessions for a supportive presence while working through something in the community. Note: telephone sessions are not usually covered by insurance.

E-mail Correspondence

This service is designed for clients who wish to communicate in between sessions with their therapist. Fees are not charged for general inquiries. This is a service that must be agreed to, in writing, prior to use. Confidentiality, on the client's end, is severely compromised by e-mail correspondence. Any communication should be immediately deleted after client review and no one should have access to the client's e-mail. Fees are accessed if therapeutic services are desired via e-mail.
